Class Time/Dates: 7-10pm on Thursdays; June 28, July 5, 12, 19. Performance Thursday July 26.
Schedule: 4 sessions; once a week for four weeks
Class size: 12 students maximum
Class length: 3 hours (12 hours total)
Prerequisite: Completed or concurrent Studio Scenework course
The Harold, created by Del Close and the Committee right here in San Francisco, is an exciting format, re-defined every time it is performed.
We'll explore the freedom of this format, and use that freedom to make compelling characters and strong scenes. Dig into what makes a great ensemble, develop group-mind, work on scenes, games, and songs that spring up on the fly, all inspired by a single word. This class culminates in a performance!
